Role Summary/Purpose: Lead all manufacturing activities for the Ultrasound Technology Operations in Europe and site responsibility for the production site in Hürth near Cologne. Head Plant Operations to ensure manufacturing builds products safely within design parameters to world class quality levels, customer commitments and business plans.
Essential Responsibilities:
  • Operational responsibility for production entities (Hürth, Alzenau & Nove Mesto) with 600 employees including safety, on-time delivery, productivity, inventory
  • Integrate and develop processes that meet business
    needs across the organization, manage complex issues within functional
    areas of expertise
  • Be involved in long-term planning, and contribute to
    the overall business strategy
  • Lead EHS (Environment, Health & Safety) culture establishment and sustaining, drive employee and leadership engagement and initiatives
  • Working cross-functional to develop flexible and innovative Supply Chain strategies that improve product line competitive positioning
  • Demonstrate accountability for functional, business and broad company objectives
Qualifications/Requirements:
  • Bachelor’s degree in Engineering, Manufacturing or business or equivalent combination of education and experience. Master’s degree desirable
  • Significant Leadership experience in a manufacturing environment
  • Specific experience leading Hourly employees
  • Must be knowledgeable about MRP/ERP systems, production and inventory control, electronics manufacturing, assembly and test systems, capital, expenses/cost accounting processes, Lean Manufacturing
  • Strong business acumen, problem-solving and organizational skills
  • Fluent in German and English Language
  • Ability to energize and motivate teams in a dynamic environment
  • Ability to work in a dynamic work environment with multiple reporting structures
  • Proven track record in change management
